Product Update - Enhanced Script Testing

Product Update - Enhanced Script Testing

The June Product Update presents key advancements in Equixly designed to optimize user experience and enhance operational efficiency. We are excited to introduce the capability for users to test and validate Custom Authentication Scripts and HTTP Hooks.

To provide support, we have introduced an integrated system that enables users to directly contact our support team for any incidents, feature requests, or feedback. Furthermore, we have made significant improvements to the platform, including a streamlined user interface, improved scan execution times, and the introduction of new extensions specifically targeting vulnerabilities within GraphQL.

Validation and testing of our scripts

With the latest release, we have enhanced our UI/UX to make it easier to write scripts. You can now check the validity of your scripts and test them before running a scan.

Custom Authentication Script

Custom script editor

The custom authentication script allows users to create their own authentication processes when other methods are not enough, offering maximum flexibility. In this release, we have added support for the Playwright SDK, enabling users to define advanced authentication methods, including the commonly used OAuth method (authorization code grant type). Now, you can create, validate, and test your scripts before running a scan.

HTTP Hook

HTTP Hook editor

The HTTP Hook is a valuable tool that allows you to manipulate a request before it is executed. For example, you can modify the request body or add specific headers. You can define advanced authorization methods with the HTTP Hook, such as AWS SigV4. In this latest release, you can also define your script, validate it, and test it before running a scan. To initiate the test, define a request on which to execute it.
