Equixly Product Updates

We’re excited to announce several key improvements to Equixly API Security that enhance flexibility, visibility, and speed for your API security testing workflows. These updates are designed to help teams strengthen their security posture while improving the overall development experience.
Extended API Definition Support
Equixly now supports the WSDL format, making it fully compatible with SOAP protocol. In addition to OpenAPI, Swagger, and Postman Collections, you can now upload WSDL API definitions for testing, expanding Equixly’s versatility for your diverse API needs.
This enhancement simplifies API testing across legacy and modern systems, ensuring comprehensive coverage no matter your architecture.
New Authentication Options
Our authentication system has been upgraded with two major improvements:
- Custom Script Authentication: Write JavaScript files to programmatically define authentication methods tailored to your specific requirements. Whether you need simple username/password combinations or more complex OAuth methods, this feature gives you complete flexibility.
- AWS Cognito Integration: Seamlessly integrate with AWS Cognito for high-quality and reliable authentication during scans. This integration streamlines secure access and further improves the accuracy of your security testing results.
These upgrades ensure you can handle any authentication method, from basic credentials to advanced cloud-based identity systems.
Real-Time Scan Monitoring
You can now monitor scans in real time through our intuitive dashboard. Identify issues as soon as they are detected, review the authorization matrix, and check comprehensive HTTP histories while the scan is still running.
This immediate feedback allows your team to start analyzing and mitigating vulnerabilities without waiting for full scan completion.
Quick Vulnerability Retesting
Instead of waiting for a full security test, developers can now retest individual vulnerabilities with a simple click of the “Retest” button. This makes validating patches faster and more intuitive, empowering developers to confirm fixes on their own without depending on the security team.
Coming Soon: GraphQL Support and User-Defined Transformations
We’re excited to share that GraphQL support is just around the corner! This expansion will allow Equixly to support modern API architectures alongside REST and SOAP.
Additionally, we’re developing user-defined transformations that will provide even more control over your API security testing workflows, enabling teams to tailor Equixly’s capabilities to their specific needs.
