February 2026 product update
Edoardo Zatti, Zoran Gorgiev
This month, we’re enhancing Equixly with a refreshed interface and improved capabilities that make your API security testing experience smoother and more efficient.
Our focus this release is on modernizing the platform and strengthening authentication workflows. We have redesigned the core user experience, overhauled our cookie management logic for complex environments, and optimized under-the-hood performance to make your security scans faster than ever.
Here’s what’s new in Equixly’s February 2026 product update:
- Redesigned user interface with a modern aesthetic and streamlined navigation.
- Enhanced cookie management for “Custom Scripts” and “HTTP Hooks” to support multi-cookie handling.
- Performance optimizations for faster workflow execution and increased platform responsiveness.
A fresh look: The redesigned UI
We’re happy to introduce a completely revamped user interface for Equixly. This update is more than just a coat of paint. It’s a substantial change in how you interact with our security solution.

The new UI features a modern design language with updated color palettes and refined styles that reduce visual clutter. But our goal was also to improve usability across the board, making it easier to manage your API security testing workflows and get to what matters most — securing your APIs.
Why the change and why now?
As API landscapes grow more complex, the tools that secure them should decrease complexity. We have streamlined the layout and improved navigation so that the functionalities you rely on day to day are now more accessible and intuitive than ever before.
In that spirit, this update:
- Lowers cognitive load: Concentrate on the most important information with clearer visuals and consistent styling.
- Modernizes the experience: A sleek, professional interface that matches the cutting-edge nature of your security work has become a must.
Advanced cookie management for complex auth flows
We have significantly improved how cookies are handled in “Custom Scripts” and “HTTP Hooks”, giving you granular control when implementing sophisticated authentication flows.

Solving the “same-name” cookie problem
In modern web architectures, it is common to encounter multiple cookies with the same name but different attributes (such as different Path or Domain values). Previously, Equixly’s cookie handling used an object-based format that could store only one value per name. If multiple cookies shared a name, the last one received would overwrite the others.
With this update, we shifted to an array-based format. This format allows Equixly to accept and manage multiple cookies with the same name and different values or paths simultaneously, which accurately reflects how browsers and high-scale APIs behave in production.
New cookie handling utilities
We have introduced a set of new utilities that make working with cookies easier and more flexible. Now, you can
- Add cookies manually.
- Retrieve them by name.
- Remove a cookie based on custom conditions.
- View all cookies associated with a session.
These improvements simplify cookie handling and provide greater control over request and response data.
Performance improvements
Behind the scenes, we’ve been working hard to make Equixly faster. We have optimized the platform’s internal execution engine, particularly regarding how scans are processed.
These performance tweaks result in faster workflow execution and a more responsive experience across the application. While many of these changes are under the hood, you will notice a snappier feel when navigating the platform and shorter wait times from the moment you hit start to the moment your results are ready.

Closing thoughts
This month’s updates concentrate on the pillars of a great security tool:
- Usability
- Accuracy
- Speed
Modernizing the UI and refining the handling of API authentication technical nuances make it easier for you to scale your security efforts without getting overwhelmed by the platform’s inner workings.
We’ll continue to elevate Equixly, boosting the security of your API, web, and LLM applications one release at a time.
